Angeliki Karagiannaki

Dr. Angeliki Karagiannaki is a part-time Lecturer for the “Design thinking for Innovation” and “Electronic Commerce and Internet Applications” modules at the Department of Management Science and Technology of Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and a part-time Lecturer for the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” module at the Department of Informatics of AUEB. She is also a founding member and the managing director of Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (www.acein.aueb.gr), the incubation center of AUEB. She holds a PhD from AUEB with a thesis entitled “RFID-enabled Supply Chain Process Redesign using Simulation” and a Masters in Management Science and Operational Research from Warwick Business School. Her research interests lie in innovation and entrepreneurship, ICT entrepreneurship, research commercialisation and innovation for supply chain management. In the last years she has had active participation in several national and European research projects. Angeliki has published articles in academic Journals, such as Journal of the Operational Research Society, Computers in Industry, Industrial Management and Data Systems (IMDS), as well as in conferences, including the Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems (MCIS), the International Annual EurOMA Conference, the Summer Computer Simulation Conference (SCSC), the European Conference on Modelling and Simulation (ECMS), the European Conference in Operational Research (EURO). Angeliki is also a member of the Advisory Committee for Research and Innovation in Attica Region, that is the advisory body that provides strategic advice and recommendations to the Regional Governor of Attica. She has published a book in Greek titled “Quantitative & Qualitative Business Process Modeling”.
